Manasi shares her experience with us

The placement committee made everybody from the Student of the Year(SOTY) shortlist to come properly dressed in formals and I received a seperate message to get my parents along as well. When I reached there, the TCS HR's were already there. Among the HR's were Robin Thomas and James Maslamani. The felicitation started with a brief video of the contestants with finalists being me, Vishal(IT), and Aditya(Instrumentation). The TCS sponsored the award with a prize money of 10K and a gold medal. TCS awards the SOTY award to 100 colleges across India with RAIT being the only one in Mumbai. It feels great when the efforts you put all through four years of engineering in any field and not just academics pays off well with this award. Even if it seems trash of any experience, the development of personality that these experiences give is what matters the most. So, giving an advice like - 'Maintain the balance for everything' will not really work here. I would suggest increasing the level of balance parameters you have set for yourself.
