The Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (R.A.I.T.) was the first to be established under the D. Y. Patil group.
As we know, Dr. D. Y. Patil is a pioneer in bringing education at the doorstep of the people of Maharashtra, thus ensuring that everyone has access to quality education in different fields.
It is my proud privilege to continue the good work of our founder, Dr. D. Y. Patil. R.A.I.T. has grown from strength to strength since its inception. From a modest building in Belapur to an impressive edifice in the Nerul campus, R.A.I.T. is the jewel in the crown of the group.
As president it has always been my endeavor to provide students with the best in terms of infrastructure faculty and other inputs that transforms an institute into a temple of learning.
In the past three decades we have been in existence, several alumni will vouch for this fact that R.A.I.T. provided them with a fertile ground to breed leadership skills, team spirit and build wholesome personalities that helped them to make a mark in the outside world.
I know that, at present our nation is brimming with enthusiastic youngsters. I am confident that their vast potential and talent will be nurtured and harnessed through our institution, eventually leading to nation building. This can lead to societal contribution and inclusive development which can contribute to our thriving young democracy, making our nation a force to reckon with in the global arena. This, according to me is one of the primary goals of good education.
