Introduction
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication has started in 2001 and has shown excellent academic record. It has been in the forefront of imparting quality education to students. The success of the Department is amply reflected in the outstanding achievements of the students employed both abroad as well as within the country.
The Department has 12 laboratories, a separate Department Library, a Seminar Hall, adequate class rooms with advanced facilities like projector, laptop, audio video system and other facilities.
The students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular events at the National level. The faculty members are encouraged to enhance their knowledge by attending Faculty Development programs. They publish papers at the National level and International level conferences. They also publish their papers and projects in reputed journals. They are duly awarded for their research work.
The Department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories such as Signal Processing, Networking, Advanced Communication, TV and Antenna, Analog Electronics & Digital Electronics.
Department is a dynamic and vibrant with about 35 highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering .The Department strives hard to tune the young minds to make them globally competitive Electronics and telecommunication engineering is a dynamic and wide area that provides excellent career opportunities in various sectors of the society. We are committed to give our students an environment where they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical knowledge, students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals.
The primary objective of the department is to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate, postgraduate in various areas of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. It has well qualified and experienced faculty with areas of specialization in mobile communication, wireless network, Signal and Image processing, microwave engineering, optical fiber communication, digital electronics, and applied electronics.
The department though started in the year 2001 has shown excellent academic record since beginning. The department is endeavoring to provide necessary guidance to students to cope up with present day technology .The students are exposed to hands on tool experience to keep them at par with global Education.
The department is NBA accredited for 3 years because of its well motivated and highly qualified faculties and high ended laboratory facilities .In addition to UG program we have also started PG program. The college encompasses research facilities in different areas to provide necessary upliftment for the student’s career.
It is indeed a great privilege to be the head of the Department with well motivated, dynamic and dedicated faculty members who are always prepared to pursue our vision in the days to come.
Electronics & Telecommunication branch now stands on its own to provide high ended technology in communication. It is also embarking on imparting futuristic technology with endeavor to make the world a global village.

- To impart quality and value based education to be at par with the state-of–art technology.
- To provide a strong foundation for analysing and designing various communication systems and develop an intuition to implement global information transportation and computing communication system so as to facilitate use of advanced task.

- Students are promoted to participate in industrial training and NGO camps for welfare of society during semester break.

- To prepare skilled Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering graduates with sound knowledge of mathematics, basic sciences and engineering fundamentals that makes them ready for employability in industry and academia.
- To provide in-depth theoretical and experimental knowledge in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering to the students and make them ready for higher studies.
- To train the students for effective use of modern engineering tools and inculcate communication skills and leadership qualities to work as an individual and team member on multidisciplinary projects.
- To develop sound ethical and professional attitude in students to facilitate them for finding effective solutions to societal, economical and environmental problems.
- To encourage, train and facilitate the students for life-long learning and entrepreneurship.
Road Ahead
It is our endeavor to aspire for academic excellence and stay up-to-date with the upcoming technologies. We take pride in our research potential with expert resources available in the field of antenna arrays, pulsed power and microwaves, communication technologies like Mobile, RADAR, Satellite & Fiber Optics, etc. We are in the process of deploying Wireless High Bandwidth Network and Long Term Evolution (LTE) research infrastructure. We are motivated towards development of state of the art laboratory facilities in the department with a focus on promoting R&D activities and quality education in communication technology.
